A notepad that carries yesterday forward
Write down what needs doing. Anything you don't finish shows up again tomorrow — no rewriting, no re-copying, no app to install.
Most project tools ask you to set up an account, a project, a workflow and a team before they let you write a single line down. Carryjot starts at the opposite end: the box is already there when the page loads, and the first thing you do is type.
How it works
- Type it. Tokens are optional but fast:
Send report #Website @Priya !high tomorrowfills in the project, the person, the priority and the date. - My Day sorts itself. Carried over, today, no due date, and what you finished today — computed from your items, never copied. An overdue item appears once, not twice.
- Work how you think. A dense list when you want to scan, a board when you want to move things along. Click any item for a side panel; nothing ever navigates away.
- Share when you need to. One button turns your private board into a team board with its own link. Everyone edits the same thing.
What it costs
Nothing, and there is no account to create. Your solo workspace lives in your own browser, so it costs us nothing to run. Paid plans will come later for bigger, longer-lived shared workspaces — the free tier will stay genuinely useful, and nothing you have made will be locked or deleted to push you into paying.
What it deliberately isn't, yet
No accounts, passwords, permissions, comments, attachments, recurring items, Gantt charts, or integrations. Those are all reasonable things to want; none of them are what a notepad does. See Data & limits for the honest boundaries, including how sharing works and when unused workspaces are deleted.
